MovieStation (“we”, “us”) is an AI creator studio for making characters, scripts, images, voices and videos. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the website, the installable app and the Android/iOS store versions.
What we collect
- Account data — email address, display name, password (stored as a salted hash), optional handle, bio, website and avatar.
- Your content — the prompts, scripts, images, audio, video files and projects you create or upload. AI-generated outputs are stored so you can reuse, edit and publish them.
- Usage & device data — pages viewed, actions taken, approximate IP-derived location, browser/device type, crash and performance logs.
- Payment data — purchases are processed by Stripe and PayPal. We never receive or store full card numbers; we keep the transaction reference, pack, amount and status.
How we use it
- To run the service: generate content you ask for, render videos, store your library, grant credits.
- To send service messages such as welcome, purchase and render-complete notifications. Marketing emails only with your consent; unsubscribe anytime.
- To keep the service safe: fraud prevention, abuse detection, rate limiting and legal compliance.
- To improve the product using aggregated analytics.
AI processing
Your prompts and uploaded images/audio are sent to third-party AI providers (large-language, image, speech and video models) solely to produce the output you requested. We do not sell your content and we do not use your private content to train our own models. Please do not upload content you lack the rights to, or photos of people without their permission.
Public content
Videos you publish as public appear on the Explore feed, on your creator page and may be indexed by search engines. Set a video to private or delete it to remove it; search engines may take time to refresh.
Sharing
We share data only with processors that help us operate: cloud hosting and database, AI model providers, payment processors (Stripe, PayPal), email delivery, and analytics. Each is bound by contract to protect your data. We disclose data if required by law or to protect users and the service.
Retention & deletion
We keep your account and content while your account is active. You can delete individual videos, characters and clips in the app at any time. To delete your whole account and all associated data, email us at the address below; we complete deletion within 30 days, except records we must retain for tax or legal reasons.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK GDPR and California CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Children
MovieStation is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Cookies & local storage
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and local storage for preferences such as language and install prompts. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed. Access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be announced in the app.
